Curio Cards Heart in Hand has sent two darling small designs that speak a little SPRING language! Ladybird is stitched on Week's Dye Work's 30ct Red Pear Linen, and Blooms is stitched on 30ct Guacamole. Both are embellished with a single black micro button included with the card, and they finish approx 2 x 3. Kind of pricey -- I double checked my invoice -- but cute! Free is stitched on 30ct Dolphin Linen -- a few white bead embellishments Songbird is on 32ct Dirty Belfast -- but since it's the same size as the others -- another pretty hand-dyed would be fun.
2012 Collector's Heart Heart in Hand has released a pair of Valentine designs, the are truthfully 'in season' all year long! First, is her 2012 Collector's Heart annual kit. Just a sweet heart design every year... this year's says 'Love Struck' and features a few bead and one brass heart charm embellishment. Stitched on 32ct Amber linen in a smattering of hand-dyed flosses from your stash, it finishes just 2 x 4. I think most of Cecilia's previous year's hearts are still available, all are offered as the chart, embellishments and cut of linen.
Poesy Collection This is darling! A medley of small endearments -- a couple of fun, historic spellings included -- wouldn't this make a cute wedding sampler??? Something you could easily personalize, stitched on 32ct Vintage Country Mocha Belfast, this finishes approx 5 x 8, and is coded for your choice of DMC, Anchor or hand-dyed flosses. Offered as a leaflet with the trio of button embellishments and a few glass seed beads, it is all regular Cross Stitch -- but I see lots of opportunity to toss in special stitches if you like doing them. Several of the shop gals have been stitching wedding gifts that include a framed medley of wedding picture and/or the invitation, along with some stitching -- and this would be a fun design to use for the stitched area!
Snowman on a Hill Heart in Hand has two new small card designs. Snowman on a Hill is tall and skinny -- stitched on Week's 30ct Putty linen in lots of hand-dyed flosses -- he measures approx 3 x 5-1/2. His hill is garnished with three white snowball buttons, and even though you stitch his stars and nose, those would be fun to embellish as well. Celebrate Heart in Hand has a new It's a Cinch kit... this one is a festive pink and brown Celebration Cake full of perky icing and wild 'candles!' Harvest Jack A fun little guy, this is stitched on 18ct Lambswool linen in either overdyed flosses (Weeks, DMC or Anchor) or #5 perles from your stash. Finishing just 3-1/2 x 4-ish, the chart comes with the linen and a trio of small button embellishments. Kind of 'pricey', but definitely cute!

Halloween Markings Heart in Hand has released a new set of tiny Halloween designs all surrounded by an easy border... cute, and offered as leaflets and cards. Eat, Drink and Be Scary is the verse offered in the border chart. Each of the six smaller boxes are available in small chart format, and there is an optional embellishment pack for the border, as well. DARLING... I do have to be honest... I think this is a bit pricey for the entire set. Border leaflet is nice... but inside... shows each of the six blocks EMPTY! (There was plenty of room in that leaflet for those 6 charts..) Each of the six inside designs are really cute -- you decide what you want to get! Buy them altogether, or individually.
What Makes it Summer? Third in a set of the 4 seasons, this is a cute medley of summer-y things, not much by themselves, but real cute all stitched together in a bitty space. Finishing approx 5 x 5, the leaflet shows a blackbird embellishment -- SO many cute things'll work on this!
Christmas Markings -- Ornaments OR a Main Piece! 2009 Collector's Heart Kit Always a heart... always pink... chart, linen and embellishment... I think this is the 9th year for them! Finishes approx 3 x 3.
Stack of Hearts Kit A small kit, stitched in 3 colors of hand-dyed floss. It includes the 6 x 6 cut of 32ct linen, 2 clay heart buttons, and a small chart. (You supply the flosses.) Finishing 2 x 2... it's very 'Heart-in-Hand-y' in flavor... but honestly quite pricey.
2008 Collector's Heart This year's little heart pattern finishes approx 3 x 3-1/4 on 32ct Dirty Linen stitched with bits of Weeks and Sampler Threads from you stash. The package contains the chart, buttons and fabric cut. Simple, and totally a quick-stitch; actually, it would make a lovely engagement or shower gift!

Halloween is a Hoot and Night Watch Two of Heart in Hand's newest Bits 'n Pieces... These two designs come separately in a small card format. They happen to be the same height... so I think you should just extend that 'Hoot' border a bit, and tuck the owl and pumpkin right there after the words! Combine the two of them for a darling little pic! Star Spangled Summer Well, it's August here... 105 degrees... we're hotter than the Star Spangled Fireworks we enjoyed over the 4th... with the next 8 days predicted at over 100 degrees... so we're already thinking about FALL in Oklahoma! This little design IS really cute... we just think it should be stitched for NEXT year! (we're sick of summer's heat!) Enough complaining... stay inside and stitch where it's nice and comfortable. Small designs offered in the same card format as Heart in Hand's Wee Ones, these are kind words of wisdom offered by Mom! Forest of Trees A tiny grouping of green trees... this medley is stitched on 32ct Natural Belfast in 7 different shades of green and one brown color of overdyed floss. There is a 'cheater' tree button in here -- saves 20 minutes of stitching!!! Some of the others are stitched using Diamond Eyelets, Leaf Variation and Sprat's Head stitches! Barnyard Wool Whimseys Chicken is the first of four new Barnyard Wool Whimsey Quartet kits by Heart in Hand. A funky set of farm animals, 'chubby chicken little' is the first... the other three being released 6-ish weeks apart. Offered as the complete kit of 32ct Summer Khaki Belfast Linen, six different overdyed flosses, a bit of Week's Handyed wool, and a couple of brownish 'Spike' buttons... chicky little measures a mere 3 inches square. The pic of all four is darling... and gives you a sneak preview to the set, to help you decide if you want all 4 on our auto -- or just choose your favorites as they come out. Gardening Medley The next in Heart in Hand's set of 'skinny-mini's' this piece is darling, and would fit nicely in that narrow spot you have beside a doorway, or between two doors! Red Roses This is a teeny kit that speaks 'pink and love!' Embellished with a lovely hand-made clay heart button, you get the chart, linen and that delicate clay button. Some Rhodes stitches in those hearts -- nothing too detailed -- just a pretty little piece!
Birds of a Feather Now this is CUTE! Offered as a leaflet, you're treated to a family of assorted birds... all 'flocking together!' You get a hen, rooster, blackbird, cardinal, owl, wren, turkey, dove and even a penguin... all standing there -- cute as can be! Stitched on 32ct Summer Khaki Linen, it measures just 3 x 7, and features a couple of clay bird buttons to add to the menagerie. Use lots of pretty overdyeds from your stash -- it does call for Raven -- one of the new Weeks colors. A NEW NOTE: We went through our button drawers and found a few more birds to add to this happy little flock! We found an owl, a bluebird, bat... and even a little buzzard-looking guy! So, Silver Needle's button set is 'enhanced' a bit,... we just couldn't help it! This is darling!
Snowman Medley The latest long and skinny seasonal medley chart is here... along with a cute set of clay buttons that embellish. Describing various snowmen shapes, your piece will finish approx 2 x 11 on 32ct Dirty Belfast Linen. All of the designs in this set are fun... this is the 8th!
2005 Wool Whimseys A smaller version -- 1-1/2 x 2-3/4 -- of last year's little Wool Whimseys... the 2005 set is detailed and charming!!!!! Offered over monthly during 2005, you can stitch each individually or keep adding to them on one piece of fabric till they're all released. Available as small, complete kits, each month features a bit of Weeks hand-dyed wool and a Barbie, Ken, or Poindexter clay button embellishment or two! The entire year (It's really cute!) is pictured here and available to purchase all at once, now that the series is complete. The next installment in the set of 12 designs this year, September's, is a little house -- possibly a schoolhouse? The complete kit contains the 32ct natural linen, the overdyed flosses, needle, and clay and wool embellishment pieces. Unassuming by themselves, this set looks awesome all displayed together! The entire piece is featured on the back of each kit... but if you're done them individually... you (or your finisher) could always attach them together into a hanging. If you've been collecting these... in the ever-present stash... and want a single piece of linen to do the whole set... we have it! Finished, this will measure approx 4 x 19, so a 1/8-yard cut works beautifully! (leave two or three spaces between each month's design.) Lots of fun, because of all the wool and button embellishments, you can take the small pieces of fabric out of the kits, and use them for other small designs, so they don't go to waste! Thanksgiving Medley Yet another 'seasonal & super-skinny' Thanksgiving Medley is real cute! Great motifs on here... it's embellished with some leaves and pumpkin buttons as well. Same size as the rest of the Medley designs... you can finish several of these into one gigantically long narrow hanging to put on a skinny wall, you know! Do the four seasons in one hanging... and the holidays in another! Offered as a single leaflet, the clay is separate. Cute and Quick!
Halloween Medley The latest in Heart in Hand's Medleys is here... and it's real cute! Just a very quick, long and skinny thing, my favorite part is that little ghost with the brown shoes! (It kind of reminds me of ET when he was Trick or Treating!) The two buttons are clay from Just Another Button Co, and offered separately from the leaflet. Overdyeds, 2 x 11 on 32ct Dirty Cashel, perfect for a skinny wall somewhere!
Dad Pocket Sampler A small, quick-study of stitches in overdyeds, stitch this in time for Father's Day, attaching the sterling charm that says 'Dad' on it. Dad will be touched... and you'll have finished yet another project!!!!! Offered as a leaflet with great stitch diagrams and the huge-sized chart that even Dad could see to stitch from... the charms are available individually. Blues, straws and creme... it's pretty!
Mom Pocket Sampler Here's a tiny 2-1/2 inch square-ish piece that is full of bits of special stitches. Lots of pretty pink and rose overdyeds, it features a flowing sterling silver 'label' charm that says 'Mom' in cursive lettering. Very pretty... and super quick to stitch! Dog Sampler Just a simple thing with a little 'pound-puppy' pictured at the bottom. You could hide your dog's name within the alphabet letters like 'woof' is... or you could change the flosses to match your baby... this finishes approx 3 x 4 on the 32ct Summer Khaki linen, which is included. Along with the fabric and chart comes a little dog dish button that measures almost 3/4 of an inch.
Valentine Medley The latest in this tall and skinny (approx 2 x 11 on 32ct Summer Khaki) collection of designs, the verse on this is just the best!!! A perfect Valentine for Newlyweds or a 50th Anniversary... or just something fun that Mom has stitched (again!) and hung on the wall!!! Offered as a leaflet with clay embellishment pack, the colors are all yummy reds, purples and soft buttermilks! Very sweet!
Christmas Medley The companion to the four seasons of Medley patterns, this is charming! Measuring just 2 x 11, and stitched in overdyeds, the clay embellishments add a touch of charm. Personally, I think you'll want to change the shade of the green in the package and tree to something a bit bolder, but what a fun little thing to stitch! It'd be cute finished off as a tall, skinny doorknob hanging, wouldn't it?
Summer Medley One of several new releases by Heart in Hand... and the third of the four seasons of Medley designs... Summer Medley is just delightful! Long and skinny (2 x 11 on 32ct), and stitched with a selection of overdyeds, the clay embellishments include a sailboat, crow and Black-eyed Susan flower. A fun set of designs, available in leaflet form with the buttons separately, these are all a real 'quick stitch!'
Stars Sampler A small sampling of stars and special stitches... this measures just 3 x 4 when finished... but features 10 different stitches all packed into that tiny space! Worked on 32ct Clay linen in yummy Weeks and Gentle art overdyeds, there is a Mill Hill beige ceramic button embellishment, just for fun... and it's NOT a star!!! (We do have lots of good looking stars, though, in case you feel that you need one!!!) Very quick to work on, and lots of fun because of the stitch variety... the chart and diagrams are extra large... perfect for a summer traveling project!!! Available as a leaflet.
2004 Wool Whimseys This is a delightful set of fat, little characters, all decked out for their season! Available as complete kits, each one will include a piece of Weeks Dye Works overdyed wool felt as part of its embellishment. Our pic shows all of the set stitched together on one piece of fabric (available below)... but they'll be cute stitched one-by-one if you'd rather. If you need the long cut of linen, just let us know!
Spring Medley The second is this fun set of four skinny-mini designs, you're definitely going to want all four when they've finally all been released! Tall (17 inches!) and very skinny (2 inches) , these are stitched on 32ct Summer Khaki Belfast linen, in what else???... delicious overdyeds! (If you look closely, you'll see a teeny pic of the Summer Medley model on the back cover of this leaflet -- a little bonus!)
