These gals bring our industry HUNDREDS of different hand-made button embellishments for our needlework! Found on patterns everywhere... Just Another Button Company buttons are made from polymer clay. The artists create the 'picture' in a long 'cane' of clay... rolling and stretching the straw-like rope of material. When it's just the right diameter or size... they slice the clay, bake it, and then drill teeny-weeny holes in every single piece.

Ewe's Egg Hunt Well... here's that darling little sheep once more... she's changed her clothes AGAIN... and now she's dressed in her Easter finery! Your 100% wool sheep is really the size and shape of a tennis ball. The complete kit includes that body template, all the wool roving stuffing, the wools for blanket and ears, and all the clay-topped pins and clay buttons decorating her. If you already have the basic sheep cushion -- you won't need to make another one, just change the 'ears and blanket' on yours. We have this both ways -- the complete sheep kit, or just the change of ears, clothes, pins and buttons! Just too cute not to make this year's Easter Egg display!
Bloom Art to Heart -- in Cross Stitch! Just Another Button Company presents this delightful floral -- a Cross-Stitched version of one of Art to Heart's quilt patterns. Offered as the chart with a set of 8 clay button embellishments, it is worked on Weeks Dye Work's 30ct Honeysuckle Linen in regular DMC flosses, with the exception of the Aztec Red you can choose for the brilliant border band. Stitch just one flower (about 2 x 4)... stitch all three (4 x 7)... stitch just the top or bottom sections of this or All OF IT (almost 8 x 8)! Just the most cheerful thing, the colors are show-stopping and FUN!
Too Tweet from JABCO What a sweet little chick! Stitch him on hand-dyed purple Weeks Linen, and garnish with his feet and flowers. We like how this is finished... the fabric is JUST CUT, and PINNED onto a piece of wool that is framed. Talk about NO WORK AT ALL... the finishing treatment is as cute as this little guy!
Little Birdie Pincushion We have 6 new wool and felt pin cushion kits this week... and each one is cuter than the one before it! Button Buddies! New designs join Sherry Sheep and Penny Penguin -- HOW can these plain balls of wool turn into somethings so darling as these little people?! Offered as complete kits of instructions, perfectly round felted wool balls for the animal body, a button base, and set of button and pin decorations to make faces, they are SO simple to construct. These make great, small, last minute gifts, but if you don't want to give them away... just make them all, and line them up on your OWN windowsill!!! Harriet Hound comes with a brown ball body, a puppy face and a set of dog bone and heart pins. Harriet stands approx 1-1/2 inches high -- before her pin garnishes. Over The Moon for Ewe Here's another sheep to add to your growing flock of Ewe Look Fabulous cushions -- especially if you have them dressed in their Spring, Patriotic, Halloween and Christmas Blanket outfits! Mr Ewe is constructed from a wad of wool stuffing, surrounded with a layer of black and gray herringbone Week's wool. What makes this little guy special (and very pricey) is his coat of R & R's hand-dyed gray cotton chenille. It is actually trim that you are couching on all over his rotund roly-poly belly. Then, you can poke in the stars and moon pin set! Quite a bit larger, and more expensive, than the rest of his flock... he might be the favorite! (I remember one of Natalie's children's story books about a sheep named Argyle. He wandered off to eat the pretty flowers and it turned his wool rainbow colors! He hated the attention and was happy when the farmer fenced off the fancy flowers and he went back to eating grass and his coat faded back to plain old gray!) Flip Flop Days Something for the summer months, this is a cute chart from Just Another Button Company, that features several clay button embellishments in the design. We've packaged the complimentary chart (complimentary with button and fabric purchase, that is!) with the needed buttons and yummy piece of pink hand-dyed fabric! Finishing approx 5 x 5 when stitched, it calls for a few Weeks Dye Works threads you can find in your thread stash. Cute and colorful, and Mona outdid herself finishing this one, didn't she? Flip Flop Days is a splash of Summer color!
And They Shall Seek Him Just Another Button Company has released a third little 'freebie' design that features their charming set of Nativity buttons. We have another designs that coordinate -- Away in a Manger and O Holy Night. Just like the other ones, this is a very simple design -- low impact stitching!!! The charm of the piece rests on the cute clay buttons handmade by JABCO that decorate the piece! You're going to need a piece of 28ct Light Sand Cashel Linen, bits of overdyed flosses from your stash, this chart and the button set. Design finishes approx 5 x 10... very quick, GREAT impact! Check out the other offer kind of like this one... both are really very nice. The charts are included on a complimentary basis, when the button package is purchased.
Away in a Manger and O Holy Night Away in a Manger is a really neat Nativity piece that Just Another Button Company introduced last year. We've had the model done for almost that long... but I never remembered to add it to our pages!!! Offered as a freebie chart, with the purchase of the button pack, this stitching option for the 4 x 8 piece is offered on 18ct Cream/Metallic needlepoint canvas. No needlepointing required, the canvas is really nice to work on -- the stitches are simply a few satins and long straight stitches. The buttons do ALL the work! Do the 30 minutes of stitching, add the buttons, and it's done! O Holy Night is the smaller version of this design. It's worked on linen, and features a few more stitches and a smaller-in-size set of Nativity buttons. We have both charts along with their required button pack -- this pack contains smaller versions of the Away in a Manger clay -- and although 'Away' is framed and 'O Holy' is finished into a box shape, you can frame or finish these any way you'd like!
