Mill Hill has delivered a set of 3 paper Santa ornament designs -- this year's with a Southwest flavor! Look back on our MH pages... you can find ALL of the previous 30 in the collection scattered along the 3 pages of kit offerings!!! The 2011 Winter Holiday Collection Into smaller ornament designs? This year's 2011 selection is awesome!!!! Again, some of the best Mill Hill has ever delivered, I love them all! The Star Santa is classic, crossed Candy Canes are the same way. The Merry Moose could pass for a Reindeer! The Holly Sprig is pretty, the Holiday Stamp is so Retro! I Love that one! And of course, check out little Kris Mouse! I think he's sleeping in his Christmas PJ's... waiting for Christmas morning! All of these smaller ornament-sized designs finish approx 2 x 3, are stitched in DMC flosses on 14ct perforated paper, and include Mill Hill glass Treasure embellishments. They are a great value, because everything is inside the little bag -- for only $6.50! We have a lovely wreath in the shop, garnished with about 4 dozen of these small designs. Our local EGA chapter stitched it for us... they put in lights, red bulbs and jam-packed it with these ornament pieces. It is charming... and quite eye-catching in the shop! Just another way to enjoy the stitching... and then an end-use for these!
2011 Autumn Harvest Kits Here's the set of 6 smaller designs that coordinate with this year's larger Button & Bead Kits. The little football is great -- use it for a Christmas ornament for anyone who loves football! The Music piece is the same way -- both could be teacher gifts, something tucked on the front of a photo album... anything. The other 4 designs are all cute Halloween and Fall. Make them into magnets, ornaments, pins to wear, pin 'em to a bulletin board for decoration... be creative! Spring Bouquet Minis Something colorful for the front of the frig... I think the ice cream cone will look the best on MINE! Mill Hill's 2011 set of everyday designs that make up into magnets, small ornaments, and package ties, this season's set seems to go with lots of things! The lamb would make a pretty Christmas ornament! For Easter, change his collar to something pastel. The blue sneaker matches last year's pink one -- a darling Baby's First Christmas ornament, or baby shower gift. The Butterfly, White Daisy and Dragonfly need to go onto plant pokes to inspire what is growing in their pots... and that Triple Scoop ice cream cone speaks for itself!!! Seafaring Santas for 2010 Every Year, Mill Hill releases 3 Santa Claus ornaments, all stitched in DMC on 14ct perforated paper. These three are # 34, 35 and 36 in that annual set! ALL of them are still available and pictured on our three Mill Hill Kit pages, so I know you'll have fun finding them all. The first nine didn't really have collection names, but then Musical, Alpine, Mountaineer, Polar, Medieval, Appalachian, Rocky Mountain and Arctic all came along, to make this a really neat set of ornaments. All are offered as complete kits of the chart, flosses, a smattering of beads (not many), needles, and the paper. They don't always look like the Santa you might remember... but I guess Santa looks different in every country -- and all during the year!!!
2010 Tiny Treasured Diamonds Small ornaments... each of these is stitched on white 28ct Jobelan, and then, their corners are folded together on the backside to form their diamond shape! No hard finishing at all! Simple bird and wreath designs this year... we laughed when we read the year they've used to stitch the two that would commemorate any special year for you -- they chose 2019!!!!!! ( I guess they're thinking ahead... and want these to sell into the 2020's!!!!!) Small 2 x 2-ish designs, each kit offers the fabric, chart, beads, needles and Mill Hill Glass Treasure embellishment. See the pretty tassels hanging from each... you do those with the included beads!
Festive Trees Ornaments This is a new collection of designs... a set of 6 different Christmas Trees... that are shown as ornaments. Approx 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 in size, each tree is stitched on 14ct perforated paper in DMC flosses, and garnished with a small brass charm. We think they'd be AWESOME on fabrics, and finished with a bit of stuffing, a pretty bow, and a bit of cording on the edges. Six trees, each one is as pretty as the last! Three indoor and three outdoor... I'm not sure which is my favorite! Offered as small ornament kits, such a pretty set, each kit includes the paper, chart, flosses, beads, embellishment and necessary needles... they'll also arrived at the end of this week.
2010 Winter Holiday Ornaments Also due to arrive this week... six new beaded ornament designs to grace this year's Christmas Tree... these are the small 2 x 3 kits that stitch in a jiffy! We have a lovely lighted wreath in the shop that displays 36 of them all stitched, as an alternative to the tree! (We glued them onto the wreath, and now all we have to do is plug it in, (or not!) and it's lovely!!!) Kitty in the stocking is cute, the Snowflakes and Snowman go with the frosty window scene and the frosty snowman from the larger Button & Bead Kit designs, and the polar bear looks like he needs a hug! Cute, as always, each complete kit contains the perforated paper, chart, flosses, beads and featured embellishment.
Mini-Autumn Small Bead Kits This year's 6 small Autumn beaded kit designs are here too! Irate Pirate is quite a switch from designs of the past, and he's just great! The leaves are classy, Trick or Treat is great to add to a Halloween tree of ornaments, Harvest Garden and the Mallard are two more classic designs... and that school picture frame is really a cute and different idea! What a fun way to cherish some old school pictures... stitch these for the Christmas Tree!!! All are offered as small kits, complete with 14ct perforated paper, and all the beads and flosses. These are a great value, because of all the 'stuff' you get in them!

Winter Greetings The 2009 set of word ornaments... we had 6 last year that were top sellers... this year's set is even better!!! Words of the Christmas Season... these are all small ornament-sized designs that finish approx 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 on 14ct perforated paper. Each is stitched in DMC flosses and embellished with lots of glass seed beads. Naughty and Nice are darling! Hope and Star are elegant... just beautiful! Holly and Jolly are a cute, traditional pair. Arctic Circle Santas OK you Santa collectors! We bring you Mill Hill's Annual Santas #31, 32 and 33! Joining all the Alpines, Musicals, Mountain, and generally Olde World in flavor St Nicks... this year's come from the Arctic Circle!!! Greenland, Lapland and Eskimo... these are always complete kits that offer your Santa stitched on 14ct perforated paper, with a 3-dimensional floss beard and mustache, and relatively few bead embellishments. Kind of reminiscent of antique paper ornaments. They are really neat on a Christmas Tree because they catch the lights, and look very beautifully handmade! Small Autumn Harvest Magnets Mill Hill's newest set of small 2 x 2 designs, these are all cross-stitched with DMC floss and Mill Hill beads and Treasures on 14ct perforated paper. Just stitch, and cut out -- around the perf paper edge... stick on the magnet, and you're finished! Absolutely the cutest designs this year... I THINK my favorite is the little spider, but I like Mr and Mrs Bones, too! Packaged in a 4 x 4 zip-lock bag... they are perfect as a Grab 'n Go in your tote!
2009 Spring Mini-Kits This year... we have a set of 6 new magnet designs... most of them aimed at tempting you to break your diet!!! Stitch a miniature root beer float, a bucket of popcorn, a tall and frosty glass of lemonade... or go right for the banana split!!! There is a darling little flip-flop design... but we know the run-away best seller will be the festive Happy Birthday greeting!!! Always offered in complete kits, these are such a good value. Presenting the Nutcracker Ballet! Mill Hill has released a wonderful set of 6 small ornament-sized beaded and stitched decorations for Christmas! Celebrating the Nutcracker Ballet... each 3 x 4-1/2 ornament is stitched on 14ct perforated paper with DMC flosses and Mill Hill beads. Offered as individual kits, we have Uncle Drosselmayer, Clara, The Mouse King, The Nutcracker, Sugar Plum Fairy and The Prince. Stitch just one or two, or all six for your tree.. they'd be kind of fun hanging in the same general area. They don't use any metallic threads, and I personally think there are lots of places that you could add some -- just for fun. See what threads you have in your stash, and get to work! Rocky Mountain Santas Wow... the 2008 annual trio of Santas has arrived! The 10th set... each 5-inch paper ornament features an old-world Santa stitched in flosses on 14ct perforated paper. Garnished with only a few beads, each Santa has measured approx 3 x 5, and with 30 in the series so far, they make quite a lovely presentation on a tree! New this year are Pike's Peak, Teton, and Beartooth Santa. They join past favorites like the Polar, Alpine, Mountaineer, Musical, and Medieval sets. Always really good color, all the beards are loose ties of the floss... all are offered as complete kits of the chart, flosses, paper, beads and needles. Tiny Treasured Diamonds Mill Hill has released a set of 6 small ornaments that are stitched on 28ct white Jobelan in flosses, beads and bits of crystal and glass Treasures. Finishing less than 3 inches point to point, you stitch the tiny design, then fold back the corners to whip-stitch together to make a diamond-shaped ornament. Then, follow the pics to string together the beaded tassel that attaches to the bottom point. Beautiful little ornaments, I especially like the Dove this year, and know that the Menorah will be well received, too! Complete kits of the chart, fabric, beads, flosses and clear instructions, this is a really nice selection this year. They are small enough to actually FIT into small spaces on a Christmas Tree, the white fabric shows up well, and the stitching is minimal!
Santa's Workshop, Harvest Trio and Awaken the Day Mill Hill has licensed the artwork of Jim Shore and charted his designs into cross stitch! The first three publications are here, and they are stunning! Offered in leaflet form, each is stitched with DMC flosses and embellished with Mill Hill beads and MH's Jim Shore buttons. Santa's workshop finishes approx 12 x 15, Harvest Trio finishes approx 5 x 12, and Awaken finishes approx 8 x 10. So colorful and pretty, we've packaged the beads and buttons together if you need them!

I absolutely LOVE the little birds... the flower pots are colorful and go with the larger Bead and Button Kits... and I have to think about the Dream and Diva a little... but you know... this set simply offers something for everyone! A Debbie Mumm Kitchen Collection Debbie Mumm has released a cute set of 6 cheery kitchen designs -- all commissioned by Mill Hill! Offered as complete kits of fabric, flosses, beads, chart and needles, the design is stitched in bright butter yellows, fresh apple reds and greens, and features glass beads that match all the bright colors! Easy as Pie is fun, Lil' Cupcake is cute, and I'm Jammin' lets them know your kitchen is a busy place! Each finishes approx 4-1/2 inches square and is worked on 14ct Antique White Aida. We're linen fans around here... so if Aida isn't your cup of tea... stitch these on linen! Bright, lipsmacking colors!

Holiday Harmony Kits Mill Hill has just released an AWESOME set of small bead kits -- all musical instruments -- perfect for your tree or small gifts! Each instrument measures approx 2-1/2 x 3, is stitched in floss and beads on perforated paper, and is trimmed with a brass embellishment. Choose between a Violin, French Horn, Mandolin, Harp, Drum and Trumpet. Stunning for tree ornaments, these would be perfect to give to so many people as small Christmas gifts, too! (Think of the choir director, and everyone else in your group!...and the music teacher... or the musician!) Very traditional and elegant in feel, the colors feature rich browns, deep reds and greens, along with lots of glistening gold beads and metallics! 2007 Appalachian Santas Every year, Mill Hill does 3 old-time Santa ornaments in simple cross stitch with a little bead embellishment. This is the 9th year to add to the set of Musical, Mountaineer, Polar... all of the previous 24 are pictured on our MH Kits pages. Stitched on 14ct Perforated Paper, each finishes approx 3 x 4-1/2, and makes a charming hand-made addition to any Christmas tree! Allegheny has a teddy bead in his sack, Blue Ridge is holding a racoon and Smoky Mountain features a cat. Simple, with Olde World appeal... we keep selling the first year's set just as much as the newer ones!!! They are an awfully good value, as well... maybe that's why!

Winter Holiday Kits For the 'gazillionth' year in a row... we have a new set of tiny beaded Christmas Tree ornaments! Always cute, always 2 x 3-ish in size, always complete little kits loaded with floss, beads and sometimes a Treasure embellishment to two, they take an evening or two or three to complete. Stitched on 14ct perforated paper, the holes are easy to see, they're so colorful, and the beads just glisten reflecting the lights from your tree. Just look at that Christmas Cardinal... it's FUZZY! (How cute is that? We have a tiny springtime bluebird just like it, too.) The white angel will be stunning against the greenery of your tree, too! Our local embroider's guild chapter always stitches a few dozen of these to decorate a huge wreath that they donate to our local Philbrook Museum of Art's Holiday fundraiser (each member does one kit.) You may not be able to stitch a 'few dozen' ornaments... but choose 5 or 6 from all the years and years of kits we have still available on our MH pages, and make yourself a tiny wreath! What a cool gift, too! Anyway, don't miss all the previous designs on our MH pages... some are TOO CUTE! Always a great value, too, because everything is included in these -- tons of different flosses and bead colors.

Rooster and Apple Basket Mill Hill's Fall 2007 Autumn Harvest Set of ornament/pin designs is here!!! Two of my favorites, the Provence Rooster and Apple Basket are highlighted here -- the other four are tucked on our Mill Hill pages. Great colors, cute designs, Mill Hill is designing these to match and coordinate with the larger Button & Bead kits. So its kind of fun to use the smaller designs to embellish the frames or garnish the tops of a stand-up cube. Really great little kits for the money, they always look good hanging on a little wire Halloween Tree, too!!!

2007 Spring and Summer What-Nots Here is the 2007 set of small ornament/pin kits by Mill Hill. Really, really nice, generic designs, they go with the larger Button & Bead kits, also freshly released! The tiny Tuscan cottage is pretty, the wine glass would make a DARLING wine bottle decoration for a special gift. Kitty and Dog are always popular. The sailboat is awesomely contemporary, and the western boot is SO Oklahoma... those Mill Hill gals in Wisconsin have no idea how much these Oklahomans love their boots! (However, I too, am from WI... and don't own any cowboy boots!!!... even though I've lived in Oklahoma for 25 years!) Anyway, these 2 x 3-ish inch kits come complete with the pattern, paper, beads and necessary flosses. Quite a good value, they are really fun to stitch, and require only scissors to cut them out for finishing! Think about these for neat scrapbook ideas, or something fun to attach to a favorite picture frame as an added embellishment!
