Pine Mountain has quite an extensive collection of ready-made pillow shams... all featuring insets of Cross Stitch fabric. Each pillow is offered as a kit of the pre-assembled pillow, or sham, or band or whatever...it's featured cross stitch chart, the necessary flosses, and any embellishments, if called for. These kits are incredibly great values! Pine Mountain is a quilt shop near Salt Lake City, Utah... and owner/designer, Sandy, is *Right On* with her current and fresh fabric choices for her pillow designs. We LOVE our Pine Mountain Collection, because there is something for everyone! Easy to stitch, everything is already there... we recommend the little 6 x 6 Tuck pillows as beginner kits, because they come already STUFFED! The rest of the offerings all feature some sort of 'outside' that re-uses an 'inside' stuffer. Very colorful and cheerful... enjoy the browse! Check the special kits and series, too! |

Introducing Monthly Minis! Pine Mountain surprised us today with the first of their fun little 2011 6 x 6 mini-pillows -- January! A winter village scene complete with snowman in the side yard... these stitch in a jiffy and come as COMPLETE kits. February's kit is due to ship on Jan 10th... in time for February's decor. (We're starting an auto-ship!) You get the darling little pre-made and stuffed Tuckable Pillow with little snowmen and snowflakes all over it, the 16ct Rustico Aida cloth cut, all the flosses and the needle. Stitch on the 5 x 5 square of aida, (so easy to just hold in your hand) and then tuck it into the opening -- behind the front panels of the little pillow and it's FINISHED.

This one asks to determine your fate on Christmas Morning! A pair of matching 6 x 6 pillows... stitch them, and tuck them next to each other in your display... (basket, wreath, windowsills, doorknobs...) If you always get one of those sparse Charlie Brown Christmas Trees... you could even tuck this set into the branches as ornaments!
