Directly from Italy, we love this collection of monochromatic designs... jewelry, seasonal, and lovely hearts from Livia and Paola Rovaris. All presented in chart format, although everything is stitched in red -- you KNOW you can change any colors you wish!!!
Sea Box Oh Look - Livia's Limited Edition Sea Tray! New supply has arrived! Sea is stitched in the middle of this charming 5 x 7-ish stitched medley of underwater critters and foliage. Seahorses, a crab, and a big octopus... it's a busy little underwater scene. Along with the chart, you get this cool 7 x 7 x 2-ish inch wooden tray. It features that display area for your stitched cushion, and three holes to hold your needlework implements. Livia is including the striped finishing fabric you see, and a bunch of cute seaside charms that are dangling there off the cushion. The two included wood tools supplied are one seam ripper and one frogger.
Bee and Halloween Alphabets Paola and Livia Rovaris have a couple of unique alphabet designs that are presented as sets of 5 pillows! One has a bee theme, the other Halloween - in looking at them, the letters are in the same positions - but each is scattered with its own fun motifs. Find some cute finishing fabric first, then some trims, THEN choose your stitching fabric. They all finish about 4 inches high, but different lengths depending on how you finish them. What a neat presentation, you have to study them a little to see how they 'spell correctly!' We brought home several new designs from the Spring trade show by these ladies... scroll down to see everything else FUN!
Hen - Finishes 3 x 10 on 32ct... the chart includes that bit of lace along with a chicken foot charm! Summer - Super cute, this measures 4 x 8 on 32ct... choose a pretty blue material. My fav part is that little whale!
Charming Seaside-Themed Designs - I love them all! Direct from the Italian Coastline, these are all presented in chart format and are coded for DMC floss. Each one comes with a special embellishment, and most have a cut of lace or ribbon as well. We have a few other charts we picked up... click through to their page to see the rest! Livia and Paola Rovaris are the designers behind all these. They look ALIKE, and it took me 2 years at Market to discover there were TWO of them! One spoke better English than the other for a couple of years... so I remember going into their room and ordering, but then 'she never seemed to remember' when I came back. (Everything becomes clearer when you're all waiting in the breakfast omlet line at the show!) North, South, East & West - All 4 designs are in this chart pack, along with a ship's wheel charm and the lace you see in the finishing treatment. You'll need to find some cute striped fabrics, which should be pretty easy. Each design measures 53 x 53 in stitch count, so on 32ct, they are about 3-1/2 inches in size. Whale - Measures 147 x 46, you get the sailboat and whale tail charms! Anchor Beach - Measures 96 x 61, you get the anchor charm and white lace to trim both end of the design. Beach (The Word) - Measures 170 x 51, This one comes with a mermaid charm that is over an inch in size, and that dividing lace. Sea - Measures 123 x 37, you get the crab chart as well. The crab charm is super-cute, comes with the crab-orange ribbon shown in the pic. Mermaid - Measures 165 x 57 (about 10 x 3 on 32ct). A different mermaid charm in this one - her very curly tail is hard to see in the pic, but it's super-cute! Lace too.
