Our auto-ship programs for these various sets let you be among the very first to receive them, as soon as they're released! We do add a nominal shipping charge to them, but since they generally go US mail, it's not cost-prohibitive each time. Choose several options with our autos:

Lizzie*Kate Leaks Out Secret Mystery Sampler Club Teaser Info!Early breaking news... you may have heard... Lizzie Kate is working on a 3-part Mystery Sampler that will begin to release on June 27th. You're going to get a darling piece full of owls, blackbirds, candy corn, pumpkins, black cats, acorns, a haunted house... and lots of awesome fall leaves (that in the real world -- make a mess everywhere!) The 5-1/2 x 13-1/2 inch piece is being stitched on a mangy 30 or 35ct hand-dyed linen - color is still a secret for the time being. (THINK it's Tin Roof) Included in each of the three charts is a 3 x 3 bonus design -- and I THINK those will be stitched the awesome Peoria Purple, Week's brightest orange and chartreuse green linen. There is a 19-skein Hand-dyed floss set being offered for this potentially-scary piece... but the catch is... that ONE of the colors in that 19 is a new Weeks Dye Works color that won't be released to the real world until September -- ONLY the packs for this sampler will have that new color 4 months early. So... wait if you dare... or if you're chicken to take the plunge. Otherwise, reserve your promisingly delightful LK Mystery Sampler now... and start the end of June with the 1st design, the secret linen, and the 19 flosses. Then, you'll automatically get the other two charts (end of July and end of August) -- their secret linen, along with just one more Weeks floss to finish that bonus chart. At this point (of basically knowing not much!), we estimate the chart ($8), main linen ($20-ish) and flosses ($47-ish) to run about $75, each of the other two parts (chart, floss and linen) -- approx $17 each. Buy the whole set altogether... or we are also offering all the different sampler components individually -- fabrics, flosses, everything. Mary Ann Blackburn from Blackbird Designs Blackbird Designs has released their 1st of 4 leaflets in the 2012 series of Loose Feathers. Mary Ann Blackburn is listed as the 'Spring' edition of this new series. Barb and Alma are finding antique samplers to reproduce and adapt to their design style and color palette this time around. The featured sampler stitched by 8-yr old Mary Ann has lots of quirks in it... Barb and Alma changed some, made some others more fun, and then created two more designs for you based on the original sampler. They've even changed the name to Alma's grandmother's name, and put in the date SHE would have been 8 years old! All three designs, along with finishing ideas are beautifully presented with Alma's pictures in the 16-page booklet. If you are a bit careful with placement (less than 3-inches around all the sides of the two smaller pieces) you can stitch everything on one fat quarter cut of R & R's 30ct Sheep's Straw Linen. Hand-dyed flosses from Crescent, Weeks and Gentle Art are all used -- soft greens, charcoals, roses and butterscotch, the larger sampler has a bit more red -- Used Brick -- as its main color.  Peace, Love and Candy Corn -- The Trick or Treat All Through the Year Series from Cherrywood Design Studios Cherrywood has a new series of 12 Halloween designs -- releasing in pairs over the next few months. The first is Peace, Love... Always a larger and smaller design... always stitched on Week's hand-dyed linens using Crescent's flosses and Week's wools to finish, and JABCO button embellishments... this set is AWESOME! We saw and photographed all the models for the entire series at our Spring trade show a couple of weeks ago -- with the strict rules that we cannot share pics ahead of time!!! The Cherrywood gals have really done a nice job with this set -- cute, unique and unusual designs, GREAT finishing suggestions, wonderful colors -- all offered as charts. I think you'll be pleased with what is in store for you!!! Peace Love and Candy corn stitches up to be 5 x 7. The little wool banner/rug/mat trimmed with wool candy corns measures approx 9 x 11. Feathered Friends from Cherished StitchesLouise Henderson has begun a 12-piece set of small pin cushions that deliver a bit of advice... and of the first three... January is by far, my personal favorite!!! Each is stitched on a bit of hand-dyed linen in more bits of hand-dyed floss, stuffed with that awesome filler of crushed walnut shells, and trimmed with your twisted cord... the new Lucet-made trim... or one of the pretty new chenilles we have by Crescent. Each month, we have a new chart -- nothing too involved -- all close to the same size -- I think the first three are charming! They'd be stunning all stuffed into one basket, or nestled together on a bookshelf. I am unsure as to the release schedule, I just know there will be a chart for each month, and I really like them. | |
Love Birds Tree from Just NanA tree of Valentines! Nan has designed a small 3-1/2 x 5 Springtime Tree that is full of 15 different stitched hearts. Coded for DMC, it does call for Evergreen Sampler Thread -- see it in the Satin Stitch heart greenery? Your tiny tree is garnished with a smattering of white and pink pearls, a crystal heart bead and a pretty antiqued silver filagree heart token. Just a pretty little thing, I can see stitching just the 'leaf part' and making it into a round pin cushion! I know there are three other trees coming for the seasons -- Nan told me the Fall one is all little jack-o-lantern faces!!! So... three more coming... we'll auto-ship you when the time comes -- if you'd like to have all 4. Stitched on 32ct Flax linen. | |
The Four Corners from Little House Needleworks Little House and Crescent Colours have a new collaboration piece -- a weathervane/four corners of the Earth kind of thing! This would be fun hanging or pillowed in a travel agency! 'First there is the North with all their tall pines and the South with beautiful fields of cotton. The West paints a colorful picture of grapes on the vine and the East lights the shoreline, reminding us of fishing in the Atlantic waters.' Releasing in three separate parts, Part One -- The Weathervane -- is here now. It is the N,S,E,W and center section. Parts two and three contribute two of the corner designs each. Recommended fabric for the 10-1/2 inch square design is Week's 30ct Cocoa -- as the whites look really good on it. This main design also includes 5 complete skeins of Crescent's hand-dyed flosses of Roasted Chestnut, Bean Sprout, Barn Door, Honey Comb and Hickory Sticks. | |
 Presenting Monthly Angels! from Raise the Roof! February's Angel kicks off the 12-part set. Holding a love letter to put in to the mail -- or did it just come from the mailbox -- her little kitty is just hanging around to see! Ms Feb is 70 x 80 stitches, worked with delicious colors of raspberry, grape and butterscotch hand-dyed flosses, and features a smattering of clay button embellishments along with two 'Just Pins' from Just Another Button Company! (Theresa has made them look like lollypops.) Just too darn cute, Ms Feb will be the same size as the other 11 angels in her set. She comes as a chart, and each month -- on the auto-Ship -- we're sending that chart along with the clay buttons and pins. We have fun fabrics available... so if you don't want to raid your stash... we can send that 30ct hand-dyed as well!!! Don't you just love her??? | |
 2012 Monthly Ornament Series from Little House Needleworks Little House Needleworks begins her 2012 set of 12 monthly ornament-sized designs with *Blessed* -- I think she could double as a bride! Offered in small chart format, each month will call for a different color of 30ct Week's Dye Works hand-dyed linen, along with a smattering of hand-dyed flosses from your stash. This first design accents Crescent Colour's new hand-dyed chenille cotton trim around the finished edge. I don't know if the rest of the finished pieces will feature special trims -- we just need to be patient to find out! We are beginning an auto-ship this year on these... chart only or chart and linen. I'll let you know if trim will become an option! By the time you've collected all 6 leaflets, you'll have 12 little ornaments ready for a spooky Halloween Tree! #1 Includes a Pirate of the Cattibean and Cattarina Kitty -- a ballerina! Stitched on 28ct Dirty Cashel Linen -- 1/2 yard will do all 12 -- each finishes approx 2-1/2 x 3, and can be finished almost any way you want. There are accessory/thread packs available that include the hand-dyed cottons, silks, wire for hangers and black trimming buttons, and we have those separate from the leaflets.  Pine Mountain's 2012 Flange Pillow Series Cute, colorful and big on fabric impact... Pine Mountain's newest pillow style features a bit of stitching, and lots of fabric trim. Each month, we're being treated to a new design... January's had snowmen, February speaks of love... don't know what March will bring.. they're always a pleasant surprise. Each complete kit comes with the 12 x 12 flange-style pre-sewn pillow sham. It features 2-inch 'flap'edges, then another 2-inch border of coordinating fabric that surrounds your 4 x 4 -14ct Aida stitching area. The pillow features a slit back, and one of the gals in the shop actually gets her 6 x 6 Q-Snap inside of these to hold the fabric taut while she's stitching. The chart and flosses are included, as well as a needle. Then, when you are finished, simply stuff Pine Mountain's 9 x 9 ready-made pillow stuffer into that back slit, and you're finished!

Pine Mountain's 2012 Medium Pillow Series SOOO easy to stitch and finish... this style is addictive! Each month in 2012, Pine Mountain is releasing a 7 x 8 pillow -- already sewn and stuffed! Each complete kit comes with a chart, flosses and needle, and the separate cut of 14ct Aida. Since the fabric is simply a loose piece, it is a breeze to hold in your hand to work with. When stitching is finished, just tuck it underneath the fabric trim on the front of the pillow -- that's it! | |

| A Schoolgirl's Book of Needle Worke -- A Woolie Book of Woolie Pages! from Island Cottage Needleworks 
Here's a Sneak Peek... Coming in January of 2012, Island Cottage Needleworks is beginning a new 12-part monthly series of small designs that will mount onto hand-dyed wool, and then be tied together to make a Woolie book! Each month, two charts along with a pretty hand-dyed 5 x 7 wool 'page' will arrive. One design finishes approx 3 x 5 on 36ct for one side of the wool, the other a 2 x 2 design for the back of the page. Stitched in Crescent's Belle Soie Silk... the teaser pictures look SO neat!!! More details will follow in Jan -- but plan on needing a fat quarter of 36ct linen -- or various pieces of Week's 35ct, and some Belle Soie silks from your stash. Each month's shipment will include the chart and wool. Don't know how we'll be addressing the linen and silks yet... except to say that they will be offered separately in case you need them! This promises to be a really cute, unique project! Each month's charts (with wool) will run $9.50. | |
Word Plays With Thy Needle's Brenda Gervais is beginning a new 12-part set of monthly designs that finish into 4-1/2 x 7-1/2 doorknob hangings. Name of the month is in here, as well as words of the season! Stitched on any yummy hand-dyed you want -- the chart calls for Gentle Art Sampler Threads and one color of Weeks. Simple and real cute, stitching just a few of the motifs each time and making them into bitty cushions would be another awesome application for this new set of charts! We're starting an auto-ship, as Brenda's new releases tend to sneak up on you... and you don't want to miss any!

Sampler of the Season from With Thy Needle & ThreadWith Thy Needle's Brenda Gervais is bringing us a new 4-Seasons Set of samplers -- Autumn is the first! Releasing on the first day of the preceeding season -- (this means that the Winter Season Sampler will release the first day of Autumn 2011!) Stitched on 30ct hand-dyed linen in 28 different shades of Gentle Art Sampler Threads, this measures almost 13 x 13. Check out the neat oak tree border -- acorns and leaves. All the bands feature pastoral scenes of the Autumn season... but I love those two squirrels guarding the top of the piece! Offered as a chart... we're auto-shipping the other three seasons -- as we know the release dates, and it's easier for us to remember that, than it needs to be for you! Winter definitely follows the same design format as Autumn -- big surrounding greenery that acts as the border, and four rows of daily life scenes of the season.  Introducing ... the Maggie Bean Series from Shakespeare's Peddler and Crescent ColoursCrescent Colours and Shakespeare's Peddler are teaming up to bring us a series of 12 designs, in 6 releases, of Life Lessons to Learn! (Shakespeare's Theresa has created an imaginery sampler-stitcher -- Jenny Bean -- and Maggie Bean 'is' Jenny's little sister. These are the lessons that little Maggie needs to learn, and she will remember them all, because she stitches them!) Offered in chart packs of two coordinating designs -- one the lesson, the other a coordinating motif -- each pack includes 5 yards of Crescent's Belle Soie hand-dyed silk -- enough to stitch both designs.  Kris's Stitches -- From The Heart Introducing #1 in a new set of leaflets -- 7 in all -- that celebrates the life of Kris Stott, a distributor of needlework items and mentor to many designers in our tiny and very personal stitching industry. Kris was a huge part of our community, and passed away very unexpectedly last March. Her daughter, Katy, has organized a set of 7 leaflets... each containing 9 designs, contributed by almost 70 designers to remember her. Each design is the same size, each uses the same color palette of Weeks Dye Works flosses, and can be stitched individually or together. Contributing to From The Heart are Katy, AB Designs, Twisted Threads, Sam Sarah Studio, With My Needle, Needle's Content, Deb Kirscht, and JBW Designs. You may not have known Kris... but you can easily see the love these people poured into their memories of her. Katy has grouped the designs by subject... wait till you see the Halloween pieces! Anyway, this is leaflet #1 of 7, each releasing every 8-ish weeks from now. Proceeds from the sale of Kris's Stitches Leaflets are going to several animal organizations for the care and adoption of homeless pets -- because Kris had a special love for anything with fur or feathers! Secret Needle Night from The Silver Needle  These are our shop-exclusive monthly kits! Each month, the first Wednesday, we release a specialty thread kit that we have designed ourselves, chosen fun fabric, threads, and embellishments, and kitted the whole thing! We even include a recipe for the desert served that evening!They're always on large count material, always seasonal or holiday in theme, and limited edition kits. When each Secret Needle Night is finished, its kit is retired forever! We've been offering Secret Needle Night for almost 8 years now... and have the past three years or so of projects up on our Secret Needle Night page.
